Job summary

The Best Connection Group Limited is recruiting a Refuse Loader in the Gloucester area to support operations within a Waste and Recycling Company. This is an ongoing assignment with potential of permanent positions following completion of a successful trial period.

Pay rates start at £13.60 per hour. Shift pattern is 6:45am-3pm, Monday to Friday, with benefits including weekly pay and 28 days paid annual leave pro-rata for PAYE. Ongoing assignments throughout 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically fit for repetitive tasks and standing.

Responsibilities

• Collecting refuse from domestic and trade premises.
• Loading bins onto a collection vehicle using mechanical lifts.
• Emptying recycling boxes into designated sections of the vehicle.
• Litter picking.
