Job summary

Responsibilities

• Contribute to and support the site's operations in the receipt, storage, handling and export of waste and recyclable materials.
• Adhere to the Waste Hierarchy at all times and work to maximise segregation to reach recycling targets.
• Drive and operate the assigned plant, shunter hook-lift vehicle and road hook-light as required for storage and transporting waste and recyclables.
• Follow site rules and adhere to speed limits and reversing procedures including using a banks persona when required.
• Report any accidents or incidents to the Operations Team Leader.
• Assist and direct the public on site to ensure correct segregation of waste and recyclable materials.
