Job summary

Veolia Group in East London is seeking a driver for waste collection with a 48-hour week and PM shifts from 14:00. You will drive to planned locations, empty containers, and record data in the onboard system while keeping paperwork current.

The role requires a Class 2 license, up-to-date CPC, and Digi/Tachograph Card, with desirable waste management experience. A competitive package includes benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Holding a Class 2 (Cat C) driving license with up-to-date CPC.
• Digi / Tachograph Card required.
• Waste management experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple commercial waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date daily.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure loads are within weight limits.
• Leave carriageways clean and clear up any spillages.
