Job summary

Veolia Environmental Services (Uk) Plc in London is seeking a Street Department Operative to drive to planned collection points, load recycling and domestic waste, and support loading and sweeping duties. You'll complete daily vehicle checks, use onboard technology to log notes, and ensure compliance with traffic laws while keeping the environment safe and clean.

Some days involve assisting with loading bins and containers as required.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 License and CPC/DIGI card are essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and load recycling and domestic waste into the vehicle.
• Complete daily checks of the vehicle and use the onboard technology to complete work notes.
• Comply with all traffic laws and legislation and ensure a safe and clean work environment at all times.
• Assist with loading bins and containers when required.
• Complete daily vehicle checks as per the driver operator handbook.
• Ensure the carriageway is left in a clean condition and spillages are cleaned up.
