Job summary

Veolia in Cambridge is hiring a driver to operate across planned collection routes. You will drive to locations, empty waste containers, and ensure daily vehicle checks are completed. You’ll accurately log data in the onboard system and maintain up-to-date paperwork while complying with traffic laws.

The role requires a Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC/Digi, a can-do attitude, and strong time management. A team-player approach is essential to keep collections running smoothly.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move and empty multiple waste containers.
• Lift bins of all weights and sizes.
• Perform daily checks of the vehicle per operator handbook.
• Input information into the onboard system and keep paperwork up to date.
• Comply with traffic laws and ensure loads are secure and clean up spills.
