Job summary

Newman Stewart is supporting a growing waste management client to recruit a Site Manager to oversee a large-scale processing facility in the United Kingdom. You will be responsible for safe, efficient and compliant operations, driving performance and ensuring high standards of health and environmental compliance.

Leading a team of Supervisors and operational staff, you will implement disciplined routines, maximise plant availability and asset reliability, and coordinate preventative maintenance

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, processing, recycling, logistics or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safe, efficient and compliant operation of a large-scale waste processing facility.
• Lead through a team of Supervisors and operational personnel to ensure daily performance and site standards.
• Drive productivity, asset reliability and plant availability; oversee preventative maintenance and suggest efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to improve housekeeping and overall site performance.
