Job summary

SUEZ is hiring at our Lancaster site for a hands-on Plant Operator to run loading shovels, FLT and telehandlers across the site.

You'll load a variety of vehicles, carry out pre-operational safety checks, assist with end-of-shift duties and contribute to lean improvements while maintaining a clean, compliant site. Applicants with CPCS/NPORS will have an advantage; training can be provided for the right person.

Qualifications

• Experience operating plant machinery and loading equipment.
• CPCS/NPORS or equivalent certification preferred, training available for right candidate.
• Flexibility to cover holidays and sick days when needed.
• Safety-first mindset and willingness to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Operate loading shovels, FLT and tele-handlers across the site.
• Carry out pre-operational safety and operator checks.
• Load various vehicle types and assist with off-loading as required.
• Ensure deliveries comply with site licence and paperwork.
• Direct customers and maintain a tidy, compliant site.
• Support lean/5S activities and end-of-shift clean-ups.
