Qualifications

• Must have NPORS certification or equivalent and a full driving licence.
• Basic literacy and health & safety awareness are essential.

To operate the weighbridge weighing in all vehicles to site, you will also operate a front end loading shovel, 360 grab handler and telehandler at our transfer station. Duties will include weighing in vehicles ensuring they tip in the correct areas, pushing up waste, and loading waste onto walking floor vehicles.

Hours of work: 0700 to 1700 Monday to Friday, weekend overtime is available.

In a single year we process 300,000 tonnes of waste that is turned into energy, generating the same amount of energy as approximately 600 million solar panels. Similarly, we recycle circa 95,000 tonnes of waste.
