Job Title: Waste Operator/Labourer

At Mick George Group, we are seeking a Waste Operator/Labourer to join our team at the Milton Keynes site.

Job Overview

The role involves operating plant and machinery to assist with waste sorting within the waste transfer station (WTS) and performing other duties necessary for the daily operation of the WTS, as directed by a site supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities
  1. Carry out daily/weekly maintenance checks and tasks on the plant and machinery used.
  2. Sort waste and perform tasks related to WTS processes using allocated plant/machinery.
  3. Complete any other duties related to the WTS as requested by supervisors or managers.
  4. Accurately record working hours on timesheets and submit weekly.
  5. Highlight training needs to management, especially for legislative compliance.
  6. Conduct oneself safely to prevent injury to oneself and others.
  7. Maintain a professional demeanor as an ambassador of Mick George Group.
