Job Description
As a Waste Operative at FCC Environment, you will support the effective operation of the site by assisting members of the public, ensuring waste is correctly separated, and recyclable materials are handled appropriately. You will play a key role in keeping the site safe, clean, and compliant with environmental regulations.
This is a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Assisting the public in using the recycling centre safely and effectively
- Advising site users on waste separation and recycling procedures
- Ensuring the correct segregation of waste streams and safe storage in line with site permits
- Identifying and managing hazardous or contaminated materials appropriately
- Keeping the site clean and well-maintained
- Reporting health and safety incidents in line with company guidelines
- Implementing and managing site policies as directed
- Following all health, safety, and equal opportunity procedures
- Undertaking relevant training and any other related duties
