Job summary

Adecco is seeking a Waste Operator in Elton for a temporary assignment of 2-3 months. You will operate the baler safely, sort and process recyclable materials, and keep the yard clean and compliant with health and safety procedures.

Start ASAP with an 8:00am–5:00pm shift, 4 on, 4 off, £13.45 per hour. This role suits someone comfortable with manual labour outdoors, able to work independently or with a team, and reliable with a strong work ethic.

Location: Elton

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off | 8:00am - 5:00pm

Start Date: ASAP (Ideally Monday or early next week)

Duration: Temporary assignment for approximately 2-3 months

• Assisting with general recycling yard duties as required

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a waste, recycling, production or yard environment is desirable but not essential
• Comfortable undertaking manual labour and working outdoors
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Health and safety conscious
