Job description

Overview

The Waste Water Network Team Leader role is a hands-on leadership position based in Livingston, Scotland. You will lead a two-person team delivering essential maintenance and repair works across Scotland's waste water network.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a two-person team in planned and unplanned maintenance on the waste water network.
  • Ensure all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
  • Undertake minor civil works as required.
  • Collaborate with Scottish Water, supervisors, and planners to deliver an effective service.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide on-site leadership, mentoring, and technical guidance to team members.
Qualifications
  • Experience as a Team Leader who has previously worked on water or waste water contracts.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and support a small team effectively.
  • Solid understanding of waste water network repairs, including maintenance and minor civil works.
  • A proactive approach to health and safety, with strong problem-solving abilities to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
  • A full UK driving licence is required; relevant industry qualifications would be advantageous.
What We Offer
  • Salary: £14.00 to £16.00 per hour.
  • Location: Livingston, Scotland.
