Job summary

White Recruitment Limited is seeking a Site Manager for a Waste Management operation in Hinckley, UK. You will oversee onsite transfer station and depot activities, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient running of plant, fleet, and staff.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm, with a salary around £55,000 (DOE). The package includes pension, private medical and dental insurance, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, training and development opportunities, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management operations is required.
• Knowledge of transfer station/depot management preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Experience with H&S standards and regulatory compliance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage onsite operations for the transfer station and depot.
• Ensure environmental permits, health and safety regulations, and authority standards are met.
• Drive efficiency and cost reduction through process improvements and KPI monitoring.
• Lead staffing, shift planning, training, and performance management.
• Identify opportunities to grow the business and streamline invoicing/reporting.
