Job summary

JLL is hiring a Waste Operative for on-site duties in Filton, Bristol. You will collect and segregate wastes, transport them safely, and prepare yard materials for contractor collection. Operating a counterbalance forklift and a flatbed vehicle will be required daily.

You will work 06:00 to 14:30, Monday to Friday, and must follow strict health, safety protocols, reporting incidents and defects promptly. Prior hazmat handling experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Counterbalance forklift license required.
• Experience handling hazardous and non-hazardous waste desirable.
• Familiarity with waste segregation principles and environmental regulations advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Waste collection and management across site operations.
• Transportation of waste materials using flatbed vehicle.
• Prepare waste materials for collection by licensed contractors.
• Operate a counterbalance forklift to move waste containers.
• Collaborate with waste team, supervisors and contractors.
• Follow health, safety and site procedures for hazardous materials.
