Job summary

Veolia in Chorley, United Kingdom is seeking a Driver to support our waste management services. You will drive to planned collection locations, operate waste containers, and ensure documentation is up to date in the onboard system.

The role requires a Class 2 license, Digi Tachograph card and prior waste management experience, with RORO/Skip handling experience preferred. Flexible hours and full-time employment offered at Veolia.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) license is required.
• Digi / Tachograph Card is required.
• Previous waste management experience is required.
• RORO and Skip experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Driving to planned collection locations and moving/emptying multiple commercial waste containers.
• Ensuring all information is input into the onboard system and all paperwork is kept up to date and submitted daily.
• Completing daily checks of the vehicle as per the driver operator handbook.
• Complying with all traffic laws and legislation including weight of loads.
• Ensuring that the carriageway is left in a clean condition and any spillages are cleaned up.
