Job summary

Veolia is seeking a driver in Poole to operate within the waste management fleet. You will drive to collection points, unload containers and ensure accurate daily paperwork in the onboard system. Daily vehicle checks and strict adherence to safety rules are required.

Applicants should have a Class 2 licence, Digi/Tachograph card, and prior waste management experience. The role offers training and a clear path to develop within a major environmental services company.

Qualifications

• Holds a Class 2 (Cat C) licence with Digi/Tachograph card.
• Experience in waste management and handling RORO/Skip operations.
• Knowledge of road safety and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple containers.
• Input information into onboard system and keep paperwork up to date daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks per operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight regulations.
• Keep carriageways clean and spillages cleaned up.
