Job summary

Veolia in Chorley is seeking a driver to join our waste collection fleet. You will drive to planned locations, move waste containers and ensure accurate reporting in the onboard system. The role includes daily vehicle checks and adherence to road regulations.

We offer a 48-hour week with 4am starts, plus Veolia benefits and growth opportunities within a large environmental services organisation.

Qualifications

• Essential: Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
• Essential: Up-to-date CPC (Drivers CPC).
• Essential: Digi/Tachograph Card.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple waste containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and complete paperwork daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks as per driver/operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and load weight limits.
• Keep carriageway clean and manage spillages.
