Job summary

Veolia is hiring a waste driver based in Poole. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle, manage waste containers and ensure accurate paperwork and onboard system updates daily.

The role requires adherence to traffic laws, vehicle checks, and maintaining a clean work area, with opportunities to contribute to community and environmental goals. 48-hour weeks are possible with Veolia benefits.

Qualifications

• Class 2 (Cat C) license held and up to date CPC and Digi/Tachograph Card.
• Desirable: experience in waste management, including RORO/Skip.
• Willing to work a 48-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Drive to planned collection locations and move/empty multiple containers.
• Input all information into the onboard system and submit paperwork daily.
• Perform daily vehicle checks per driver operator handbook.
• Comply with traffic laws and weight limits for loads.
• Keep the carriageway clean and promptly clean any spillages.
