We are seeking team members based at Freighter House, Boreham, to work throughout the Chelmsford Borough. You will lead a small crew collecting waste and recyclables from domestic properties and commercial businesses. These physically demanding roles involve repetitive manual handling.
As you will operate and be responsible for waste/recycling collection vehicles, an HGV/LGV license is essential, along with a current driver CPC card and Digi card. You should demonstrate a clear understanding of safe working practices. Knowledge of Chelmsford and surrounding areas is desirable.
The successful candidate will work 37 hours per week, either over a 4-day (Tuesday to Friday) or 5-day (Monday to Friday) schedule, depending on the vacancy.
