Job summary

Sonoco manufactures packaging and offers a challenging role maintaining washers and processing equipment on a continental based shift roster. You will perform daily checks, troubleshoot faults, ensure GMP compliance, and support safety and environmental initiatives across the site.

Experience in a manufacturing setting and a forklift licence would be advantageous, with a strong safety mindset and ability to work in a team or individually to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of washer/washer process engineering.
• Experience with chemical storage and segregation.
• Mechanical or technical skills across manufacturing environments.
• Fork lift truck licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintain washer/dryer operation within specifications.
• Perform daily checks and calibrations with standard lab equipment.
• Assist with water treatment and safety/environment duties.
• Support HS&E initiatives and safe working practices.
• Update SOPs and contribute to continuous improvement.
