Job summary

Element Solutions Inc.'s Fernox division is seeking a reliable Production Operator to support day-to-day chemical manufacturing. You will run reactors and packaging processes, ensuring safe, efficient production and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or chemical processing environments is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of chemical production processes and equipment operation.
• Awareness of chemical safety, PPE use, and regulatory requirements (COSHH).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot production equipment.
• Understanding of quality control principles and product consistency.
• Ability to complete production records and follow procedures.
• Capable of manual tasks, lifting, and standing for long periods.
• Education or training in chemical processing or manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment safely according to SOPs.
• Monitor temperature, pressure, flow, and other parameters.
• Perform in-process checks and report deviations.
• Handle raw materials and finish goods; batch transfer and packaging.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Assist with minor equipment adjustments and maintenance reporting.
• Document production logs and shift handovers accurately.
