Job summary

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. in Biggleswade is looking for a Washbay Operative to ensure all machines and attachments are cleaned to the highest standards.

You will contribute to the company's key result areas including business performance, customer focus, people and teamwork, and leadership. In this on-site role you will clean equipment using the proper methods, complete documentation, maintain a safe washbay, and communicate with internal teams and customers while supporting the wider workshop

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, agricultural, or related equipment industries.
• Self-motivated and proactive in work approach.
• Flexible and willing to support the wider team when required.
• Ability to work independently and use own initiative.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean all machines and attachments, inside and out, using appropriate equipment and methods.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
• Follow company policies and the Quality Assurance Manual.
• Maintain the washbay and surrounding areas in a clean, safe, and organised state.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external customers.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and follow procedures.
• Undertake other duties as required by management.

A vacancy has arisen within our Workshop in Biggleswade for a Washbay Operative. This role plays an important part in the success of Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd by ensuring all machines and attachments are cleaned and presented to the highest standards. The successful candidate will contribute to the Company's key result areas of Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, and Leadership.

Your Responsibilities

• Clean all machines and attachments, both internally and externally, using the appropriate equipment and cleaning methods.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Carry out duties in accordance with company policies and the Quality Assurance Manual.
• Maintain the washbay and surrounding work areas to a clean, safe, and organised standard.
• Communicate effectively with both internal departments and external customers.
• Promote a positive health and safety culture and ensure company procedures are followed within the workshop and yard areas.
• Undertake any other duties appropriate to the role as required by management.
