Job summary

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. is seeking a Logistics Operative to support its Logistics Department in moving goods safely and efficiently. You will work to high standards of customer service, safety, and process efficiency at the UK site.

The role requires warehouse experience and a valid Counterbalance forklift licence (VNA/HLOP licences desirable). You will contribute to continuous improvement and maintain strong housekeeping and safety practices on site in Biggleswade.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload machinery, equipment, and consignments.
• Operate warehouse equipment including Counterbalance, VNA, and HLOP forklifts in accordance with company procedures.
• Marshal vehicles safely across the site, ensuring compliance with site safety regulations.
• Carry out slinging and signalling duties where required.
• Accurately pick, pack, and process customer orders using the warehouse ERP system.Replenish stock locations to maintain operational efficiency.
• Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory control activities.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance logistics processes and operational efficiency.
• Take ownership of personal development by continually improving skills, knowledge, and performance.
• Comply with all Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental procedures and policies.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties as required by management, commensurate with the level of the role.

The Logistics Operative plays a key role in supporting the success of Liebherr-Great Britain’s Logistics Department. Reporting into the Logistics team, the role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate and efficient movement of goods and machinery while delivering excellent internal and external customer service. Your Profile

The successful candidate will ideally possess:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment.
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (VNA and HLOP licences desirable).
