Job summary

Winner Recruitment is recruiting a Wash Plant Operative for a busy manufacturing business in Tankersley. The role offers a four‑day working week with a pay rate of £13.25–£15 per hour and rotating day and night shifts.

You will operate wash plant equipment, load materials, monitor processes and perform quality checks. We seek reliable, hardworking candidates with experience in manufacturing, recycling or similar environments who are eager to learn and contribute to a safe, efficient production

Responsibilities

• Operate wash plant and processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload metal materials into the wash plant.
• Monitor machinery and production processes.
• Carry out quality inspections on processed materials.
• Record production data accurately.
• Complete routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support the wider production team when required.

Winner Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Wash Plant Operative to join a busy and well-established manufacturing business in Tankersley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, recycling or industrial production who is looking for a long-term, permanent position working a four-day week.

Duties Include:

• Operate wash plant and associated processing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload metal materials into the wash plant.
• Monitor machinery and production processes.
• Carry out quality inspections on processed materials.
• Record production data accurately.
• Complete routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Support the wider production team when required.
