Job summary

LNS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Wash Plant Operator for a role in the Thatcham area. You will operate the wash plant and water treatment system safely and efficiently, monitor production, and perform routine inspections and basic maintenance.

The successful candidate will show good mechanical awareness, reliability and a proactive approach, with attention to detail. Hours are Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work; 28 days' holiday includes bank holidays, and there is

Qualifications

• Experience on wash or recycling plants is desirable.
• Experience with mobile plant equipment (loading shovels, excavators) is advantageous.
• Good mechanical awareness and troubleshooting skills.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and good team player.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Operate the wash plant and water treatment system safely and efficiently.

The role will involve the safe and efficient operation of the wash plant and water treatment system, monitoring production, carrying out routine inspections and basic maintenance, completing daily pre-start checks and ensuring recycled aggregates meet the required specifications.

Requirements:

• Previous wash plant, recycling plant, quarry or similar experience is desirable
• Mobile plant experience, such as loading shovels or excavators, would be advantageous
• Good mechanical awareness
• Reliable and safety-conscious
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
