Job summary

Veolia in London Borough of Bromley seeks a dedicated pressure washing operative to clean a variety of vehicles across depots. You will operate safe, compliant equipment, manage a defined schedule, and uphold H&S and site rules. A valid HGV and UK driving licence, plus pressure-washing experience, are essential.

Qualifications

• HGV Licence required.
• UK full driving licence (Car).
• Training/experience in pressure washing.
• Forklift counterbalance licence beneficial.
• Water Jetting Association qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pressure washer machinery safely to clean vehicles.
• Use degreasers and chemicals per risk assessments and MSDS.
• Maintain schedule and provide feedback to improve efficiency.
• Clean debris and waste from wash areas.
• Travel between local depots to perform cleaning tasks.
• Keep tools and equipment in good repair and maintained.

Salary: Up to £32,926 Dependant on experience plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

What you'll be doing;

• Operate pressure washer machinery safely and effectively to clean a variety of vehicles.
• Use degreasers, chemicals whilst following health and safety risk assessments and method statements.
• Maintain an established schedule as requested and provide feedback to improve schedule efficiency.
• Clean up debris and other waste materials from area being washed.
• Other manual duties as directed.
• Keep tools and equipment in good repair.
• Travel between local depots to carry out pressure washing as required.
• Clean and maintain wash areas to ensure safe operation at all times.
• Follow health and safety PPE requirements at all times.
• Complete vehicle washing log.

What we're looking for;

• HGV Licence
• UK Full drivers licence (Car)
• The ability to work under pressure, actively seek solutions to problems and having
• Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks are all key attributes.
• Ability to work alone
• Training/experience for use of pressure washers.
• Forklift licence (Counterbalance)
• Qualification issued by the Water Jetting Association (WJA)
