Avery Healthcare Group recruits a warm and dedicated Kitchen Assistant - Bank to join Birchmere House Care Home in Solihull. You will support the catering function, assist with food preparation, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment for residents.

We value compassion and reliability. The role requires Basic Food Hygiene, safety awareness, and the ability to work as part of a small team to meet the needs of our residents and their visitors.

Qualifications

• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and demonstrates high standards of personal hygiene.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety and COSHH assessments.
• Be an efficient worker with the ability to respond to a demanding workload.
• Demonstrate initiative and a caring, respectful attitude toward residents.

Responsabilités

• Support the catering function in food preparation and maintaining a clean environment for safe production of meals and beverages.
• Contribute to high-quality, comprehensive service for residents and visitors.
• Adhere to safe food handling standards and respond promptly to work instructions.
