Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Kitchen Assistant on a bank basis at Acorn Lodge Care Home in Nuneaton. The shifts are 07:00-15:00 and 11:00-19:00, and you will support the catering function to deliver high-quality meals and beverages in a clean, hygienic environment for residents.

You will hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, work safely under Health & Safety guidelines, and contribute to a caring team focused on residents' wellbeing and comfort.

Qualifications

• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety, Moving and Handling, Fire Safety and COSHH.
• Able to work at a steady, physically demanding pace.
• Demonstrates initiative and flexibility to team working.
• Caring and understanding attitude toward residents.
