Job summary

Bury Council is seeking a proactive Warm Safe Homes Officer to join the Home Improvement Team. The role focuses on community engagement to promote the Warm Homes Local Grant and identify eligible households through outreach and partnerships.

You will support energy efficiency schemes and Disabled Facilities Grants, assisting vulnerable residents across the borough. The position offers a mix of office work, home visits and community outreach, with travel across Bury required.

Qualifications

• Experience of community engagement, customer-facing services, housing, energy efficiency or grant-funded programmes.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload and deliver practical solutions.
• Strong project and case management skills with excellent communication and organisational abilities.
