Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Food and Beverage Team Member to join Beaconsfield Heights Care Home in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. You will support dining service and assist residents with their meals, help set tables, replenish cakes and fruit, and ensure dietary requirements are respected.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate high hygiene standards, compassion, and experience in a similar setting; a basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate high standards of personal hygiene.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to the delivery of culinary services to residents.
• Have experience of working in a similar setting, restaurant or hotel would be desirable.
• A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the residents with choosing their meal options at the time of dining.
• Ensuring that dining tables are set in accordance with the standard operating procedures.
• Keeping front of house clean, tidy and well-presented, and that dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
• Ensuring fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas are replenished throughout the day as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
• Being aware of resident's dietary requirements.
