Job summary

Olympus Welding Supplies in Grimsby is offering a Warehousing Apprentice role to gain hands-on experience across all warehouse functions. You will learn receiving, storing, picking, packing and dispatch, while supporting customers and keeping accurate records.

The apprenticeship runs for 1 year, with Monday to Friday hours, under TEC Partnership. Join a friendly team and develop practical skills and industry knowledge toward a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade D or above.
• Interest in logistics and warehouse operations.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check incoming stock against delivery notes.
• Unload, move and safely store stock within the warehouse.
• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Pack goods securely and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Load and unload vehicles safely when required.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with stock checks.
• Keep the warehouse clean, tidy and organised.
• Learn to use warehouse equipment and systems safely.
• Assist with stock rotation and ensuring products are stored correctly.
• Support the wider team with day-to-day warehouse duties.
• Provide good customer service when dealing with customers and deliveries.
• Follow all company health and safety procedures and safe working practices.
