Job summary

Anglian Home Improvements in Weybridge is seeking an experienced Yard Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and a small team at the Weybridge depot. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

The role rewards proactive leadership, excellent communication, and strong inventory control in a fast-paced environment. forklift certification is preferred but not required, with safety and process improvements a key focus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Forklift certification (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of products.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with other departments to fulfil orders accurately and on time.
• Train and mentor warehouse staff to maintain high standards of performance and safety.
• Implement and enforce warehouse procedures and protocols to optimise efficiency.
• Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
