Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative and Shunter to support efficient warehouse operations and safe movement of trailers and vehicles on site. You will help ensure smooth goods flow, maintain a safe workplace, and uphold high client standards.

The role requires prior warehouse and logistics experience, with yard shunter duties and a valid shunter qualification or HGV licence where required. Desirable are MHE licences and strong attention to health and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse and logistics environment.
• Experience as yard shunter or in a similar vehicle movement role.
• A valid shunter qualification or HGV licence (where required).
• MHE licences desirable (Reach, PPT, LLOP, Bendi, VNA, or Counterbalance).
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, pick, pack, and dispatch goods.
• Load and unload trailers and containers safely.
• Move, stack and organise pallets to maximise storage.
• Operate warehouse equipment where authorised.
• Perform stock counts and assist inventory management.
• Use warehouse systems and voice picking where applicable.
• Ensure items are packed, labelled and prepared for shipment.
• Safely shunt trailers, containers and vehicles around the yard.
