Warehouse Operative | Full time | Newbury

Palletforce is seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operative and Forklift Truck Driver to join our team at the Newbury warehouse. The ideal candidate will have strong computer literacy skills and be able to efficiently manage warehouse operations.

THE SALARY

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate forklift trucks to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
• Perform general warehouse duties including picking, packing, and inventory management.
• Utilise computer systems to track and manage stock levels, process orders, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise warehouse operations.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualifications: Hold a forklift licence.

Experience: Previous experience is essential, particularly in operating a forklift. You will work well under pressure, have the ability to prioritise, excellent timekeeping, and a strong customer and quality focus.

Communication: Good spoken and written communication skills.

Influence & Persuasion: Build good working relationships with colleagues and customers.

People & Self Development: Have a flexible “can do” attitude to cope with changing priorities.
