Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Days)

Salary: £25,766.40 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time

Contracted hours: 40 hours per week (Monday – Friday)

Working Days: Monday – Friday

Shift Pattern: 8-hour shifts, 06:00 – 14:30

Location: High Wycombe

A position has arisen within our busy dayshift operation. The role of Warehouse Operative is vital to ensuring that Creed Foodservice delivers excellent customer service. Responsibilities include warehouse intake, replenishment, and stock control functions within the freezer.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Receiving all orders from delivery points, ensuring product quality and correct temperature.
• Maintaining products at appropriate temperature regimes.
• Loading and unloading vehicles according to routing and schedules.
• Breaking down deliveries and storing products in correct warehouse locations.
• Carrying out replenishment according to company procedures.
• Keeping work areas clean and tidy at all times.
• Using equipment safely, including Powered Pallet Trucks & Fork Lifts.
• Reporting products below standard immediately.
• Building good relationships with internal and external customers, including employees, managers, visitors, and drivers.
• Complying with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Performing other duties as required by the business.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate should have a positive attitude, be eager to learn, motivated, flexible, and willing to work extra hours as needed.

Essential requirements include:

• Experience as a Warehouse Operative, ideally in a Foodservice environment.
• Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Relevant licences or certifications for Powered Pallet Trucks & Fork Lifts are desirable but not essential, as training is provided.
