Job summary

TechnipFMC plc in Aberdeen is seeking a Warehouse Technician to support the safe, efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse and workshop operations. You will receive, store, prepare and dispatch materials while ensuring stock records are accurate.

This hands-on role emphasises safety, teamwork, and attention to detail, with opportunities to assist wider operational activities and occasional driving duties to support the service base.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues to support safe and efficient warehouse activities.
• Attend daily team meetings and follow safety procedures.
• Receive, inspect, store and dispatch materials and equipment.
• Verify materials against documentation and keep records accurate.
• Update systems (POS/SAP) promptly.
• Operate machinery for handling materials.
• Carry out regular stock checks and maintain inventory levels.
• Process purchase orders and warehouse documentation as required.
• Support wider service base activities as needed.
• Undertake driving and delivery duties when required.

Job Purpose

As a Warehouse Technician, you’ll play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient day-to-day running of our warehouse and workshop operations. Working as part of a collaborative team, you’ll be responsible for receiving, storing, preparing and dispatching materials and equipment, while ensuring stock and system records remain accurate.

This is a varied, hands‑on role where safety, teamwork and attention to detail are essential. You’ll also have the opportunity to support wider operational activities, making flexibility and a proactive approach key to success.

Job Description

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the safe and efficient running of workshop and warehouse activities.
• Attend daily team meetings and follow all company safety procedures and protocols.
• Safely receive, inspect, store and dispatch materials and equipment.
• Verify materials and equipment against the relevant documentation, ensuring records are accurate.
• Update company systems, including POS/SAP, accurately and promptly.
• Safely operate appropriate machinery and equipment when handling and moving materials.
• Carry out regular stock checks and help maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Process purchase orders and other warehouse documentation as required.
• Support activities across the wider service base as operational needs require.
• Undertake driving and delivery duties when required.
• Participate in on‑call and overtime rotas where necessary to support operational requirements.
• Take a flexible, team‑focused approach and carry out other reasonable duties as required.
