Job summary

QUINTESSENTIAL BRANDS UK GROUP LTD is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader to run one shift in a busy operation. You'll oversee on-the-floor activities, support your team, and ensure the shift runs safely and efficiently.

You’ll manage staffing, lead HR processes such as return-to-work and investigations, conduct inductions, and handovers between shifts. If you can motivate people, stay organised under pressure, and foster continuous improvement, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing people in a warehouse, logistics, or fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling HR processes (return to work, absence management, investigations, disciplinaries).
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills under pressure, especially during peak periods.
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail across shifts.
• Experience onboarding agency staff and new team members.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations during assigned shift from start to finish.
• Manage and support the team to hit productivity and efficiency targets.
• Plan staffing levels around overtime, absences, and seasonal peaks.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance against goals.
• Ensure handovers between teams are clear and thorough.
• Lead Return to Work meetings with fairness and consistency.
• Conduct investigations and participate in disciplinary processes when needed.
• Deliver inductions for new starters, including agency staff.
• Conduct probationary reviews and support new teammates.
