Job summary

Spot On Recruitment is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader for the Luton area. You will lead a ~25-strong team across fixed shifts, drive productivity, quality and safety, and manage performance and absence. The role offers a fixed-term contract ending March 2027 with opportunities to progress within a busy distribution operation.

You will be expected to motivate, coach and develop staff, maintain high standards and continuously improve processes to meet business targets.

WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADERS – LUTON AREA

Contract: Fixed-term until March 2027

Shifts: Fixed shifts of 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00 or 22:00–06:00, working 5 days out of 7

Pay: Days and Afternoons - £36,200 Nights £40,500

ARE YOU THE LEADER WE'RE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for someone who brings more than just experience to the table.

You'll have:

• Proven Team Leader experience within warehousing, distribution or a similar fast-paced environment.
• The confidence and personality to motivate, influence and inspire a team.
• A strong understanding of operational KPIs, productivity and cost control.
• Experience managing people, performance, absence and difficult conversations.
• The ability to think on your feet, make decisions and thrive under pressure.
• A genuine passion for developing people and creating a positive team culture.
• A proactive, continuous improvement mindset.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and operational systems.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is a fixed-term contract until March 2027, offering the chance to make a real impact within a busy distribution operation.

There may be opportunities to apply for permanent positions during the contract, although these cannot be guaranteed.
