Job summary

A Warehouse Team Leader position in Hull is available with Adecco Group UK & Ireland. You will lead a team of warehouse operatives across all activities, ensuring timely picking, packing and dispatch while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include workload planning, performance coaching, stock accuracy, and cross-department collaboration to drive improvements. A relevant leadership background and WMS experience are essential, with a Monday-Friday rotating shift

• Experience leading warehouse teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and distribution processes.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Familiarity with KPIs and performance management.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and support a team of warehouse operatives across all warehouse activities.
• Plan and allocate workloads to meet targets and customer service levels.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and training.
• Ensure orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.
• Conduct team briefings and performance discussions as required.
• Monitor stock accuracy and support inventory control activities.
• Investigate and resolve operational issues to minimise disruption.
• Drive continuous improvement with other departments.
