About the Role

We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to oversee a warehouse picking team, ensuring efficient completion of duties to meet customer service and productivity targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assign work to the warehouse team, monitor performance, and take corrective actions as needed.
2. Ensure inventory is accurately picked, checked, loaded, replenished, and stored, complying with procedures to meet KPIs.
3. Utilize in-house systems for stock management, order picking, and shipment preparation.
4. Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to plan and lead team activities.
5. Operate equipment safely and effectively, in line with statutory and company policies.
6. Provide training to staff and maintain training records, identifying further training needs.
7. Train temporary staff on picking, loading, manual handling, security, and safety procedures.
8. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
9. Complete all warehouse administration accurately and promptly.
10. Regularly inspect equipment, record damages, and coordinate remedial actions.
11. Assist with employee relations, including disciplinary and capability investigations.
12. Conduct 1-2-1 meetings with staff, providing feedback and addressing issues proactively.
13. Provide cover for Warehouse Controllers as required.

About You

• Experience in warehouse management and WMS systems.
• Hold Reach and Counterbalance forklift licenses (preferred).
