Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager in Bury (Greater Manchester) to lead a team of warehouse colleagues, drive safety, and ensure operational excellence. The role reports to the Warehouse Shift Manager and focuses on coaching, performance, and customer service in a fast-paced logistics environment.

The role requires previous warehouse/logistics experience, strong people management and communication skills, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of warehouse colleagues to achieve operational targets.
• Drive a culture of health, safety and wellbeing, ensuring compliance with all site procedures and legislation.
• Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring productivity, quality and service KPIs are achieved.
• Monitor and improve team performance through coaching, training and regular feedback.
• Conduct performance reviews, absence management and return-to-work discussion.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and effective operational performance.
• Manage resources effectively to meet changing customer demands and business requirements.
