Warehouse Team Leader – Kirkbymoorside
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 37 per week | Mon–Thurs 8:30am–4:30pm, Fri 8:30am–4:00pm
(Flexi-time available)

A global manufacturing business based in Kirkbymoorside, North Yorkshire is looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join their team.

The Role: You’ll be leading the Warehouse and Distribution team, ensuring efficient, safe, and accurate handling, storage, and movement of inventory. This is a key role focused on improving processes, managing a small team, and ensuring stock control is maintained to a high standard using an MRP system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day leadership of the warehouse and logistics function
  • Ensuring timely and accurate inventory control and stock transactions
  • Managing goods in/out, stock checks, and transport coordination
  • Driving continuous improvement within warehouse operations
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
  • Generating and analysing reports using KPIs
  • Supporting cross-functional teams including production, procurement, and sales
Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a leadership or team management role
  • 5+ years’ experience in a stores or warehouse setting
  • Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (ideally SME)
  • Hands-on knowledge of stores handling equipment and MRP systems
  • Strong IT skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Full UK driving licence
