Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join its Coventry operations. You will lead daily warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, loading and dispatch, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

In this role you will mentor staff, monitor KPIs, uphold Health & Safety and SOP standards, and collaborate with drivers and other departments to maintain smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics role, preferably in a team-leading capacity.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory processes, and equipment.
• Proficient with WMS and basic computer tools; strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and monitor the activities of warehouse staff.
• Allocate tasks, set daily priorities, and ensure deadlines are met.
• Oversee receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, loading, and dispatch operations.
• Ensure accuracy of orders and inventory through regular checks and cycle counts.
• Motivate and guide team members to achieve performance targets.
• Train new employees on warehouse procedures, equipment, and safety standards.
• Provide feedback and participate in performance reviews.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and a positive work culture.
• Assist with shift planning, resource allocation, and attendance tracking.
• Monitor KPIs such as accuracy, productivity, and order turnaround times.
