GE Vernova’s Power Conversion warehouse in Rugby designs and manufactures electrical motors and generators for marine, naval, oil & gas and industrial sectors. You will lead a small team, ensuring safe and accurate material flow while supporting day-to-day delivery of the stores function.

The role emphasizes cycle counting, stock control, barcode-based processes and continuous improvement projects, with a strong focus on safety and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Warehouse Team Lead or Supervisor role.
• Strong background in stock management, inventory accuracy and day-to-day warehouse processes.
• Experience with cycle counts, stock checks and wall-to-wall counts.
• Experience supporting non-conformance logging, investigation and resolution.
• Experience coordinating carrier bookings or third-party logistics.
• Experience supporting audit counts with finance and inventory owners.
• Knowledge of 5S, Lean, Kaizen or continuous improvement.
• Forklift licence and practical warehouse IT skills (MS Office).

Responsabilités

• Oversee day-to-day running of the Systems and Spares warehouse.
• Lead the stores team with clear priorities and safe, accurate performance.
• Allocate workloads across receipt, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Maintain stock integrity through cycle counts and stock checks.
• Fulfil internal material requests on time.
• Coordinate carrier bookings, deliveries and 3PL activity.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and drive resolution.
• Support quality processes and non-conformance handling.
• Promote continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping.
• Ensure safe, compliant site operations and risk assessments.
