Job summary

GXO are looking for two Warehouse First Line Managers to join The Entertainer site in Banbury. You’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets.

This is a full-time, permanent role working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern from 14:30 to 23:00. You’ll be paid a salary of up to £31,000 per annum, with 25 days annual leave, pension, private medical and dental insurance, a 24/7 GP service, life assurance and more through the GXO benefits platform and GXO University for skill

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to coach others to drive and implement change.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and plan operations.
• Strong IT skills including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for day-to-day running of the warehouse in your area, you’ll lead, motivate and develop your team to achieve targets.
• Ensure effective communication is delivered to colleagues and management teams on a daily basis.
• Pro-actively support the site and customer’s continuous improvement initiatives, acting as an advocate on site for cultural change.
• With good understanding of health & safety you’ll strive to make sure all operational processes are fully compliant with our policies, while accurately identifying risks and escalating your findings.
