Job summary

The Best Connection Group is seeking a proactive First Line Manager at our Nottingham site. You will lead on-the-ground warehouse operations, coordinating inbound, returns, pick, pack and outbound tasks to meet performance targets.

Working closely with the Shift Manager, you’ll develop your leadership skills, manage resources, monitor attendance and drive continuous improvement while maintaining safe methods and efficient service for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Experience leading, coordinating, or supervising teams is advantageous.
• Strong communication and people skills for building positive relationships.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and warehouse management systems.
• Proactive, organized and ownership-driven approach to issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities across Inbound, Returns, Pick, Pack and Outbound operations.
• Allocate resources and daily workload to meet service levels and targets.
• Communicate shift priorities and performance updates via briefs and handovers.
• Act as first point of contact for operational issues and escalate when needed.
