Job summary

GXO Logistics in Sproughton, Ipswich, is seeking a Warehouse Systems Planner for a 15-month fixed-term maternity cover. You will own warehouse system performance, coordinate stock flow and outbound planning, and balance container resources to keep operations flowing smoothly.

The role requires strong experience with warehouse management systems, SAP/eWM, and the ability to analyse data, report on KPIs, and influence multiple teams. Salary £35,385 plus 25 days’ leave and pension benefits.

Qualifications

Experience with warehouse management systems, able to troubleshoot and optimise performance.
Proven experience in stock, systems or operational support in fast-paced warehouses/logistics.
Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive decisions.
Confident communicator capable of influencing multiple stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

Own warehouse system performance; monitor health, mitigate disruption and drive continuity.
Coordinate stock flow and outbound planning; schedule picks to meet load deadlines and customer requirements.
Manage container and resource planning; bay allocation, labour deployment and space utilisation.
Analyse stock discrepancies, rework backlogs and process exceptions to keep inventory accurate.
Produce operational reports and KPI insights to support handovers and continuous improvement.
