Job summary

Colebrook Bosson Saunders is seeking a proactive Material Planner on a fixed-term maternity cover (12 months) to join our supply chain team in the UK. You will manage purchase orders, maintain stock levels across warehouses and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.

Strong Excel and Syteline/Infor CSI experience are essential, along with robust stock management skills. You will liaise with internal departments and external suppliers, raise POs to meet demand, review costs and keep

Qualifications

• Excellent Excel skills and Syteline/Infor CSI experience.
• Stock and inventory management experience.
• Self-motivated and well-organised with ability to liaise with multiple departments and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all purchase orders adhere to purchasing procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure supply of materials meets requirement.
• Review inventory weekly across multiple systems to ensure projects are met and stock levels are adequate across warehouses.
• Raise purchase orders to meet stock levels and business needs.
• Liaise with suppliers to provide forecasts to meet production demands.
• Plan, develop, implement and evaluate material delivery processes from supplier to warehouse.
• Coordinate supplier and freight forwarder schedules and update systems accordingly.
• Review product costs and update codes and prices as needed.
• Regularly review with freight forwarders to ensure service levels are met.
• Create regular statistical reports to analyse and inform the organisation.
• Lead projects to improve processes and efficiency to meet business requirements.
