Job Description:

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new procedures to improve warehouse efficiency
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track staff performance
  • Training and supervising warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
  • Carrying out daily briefings and reporting back to the P&L Manager
  • Ensuring projects leave HQ on time with all requirements completed in advance (asset log, certification, Core asset management system)
  • Managing incoming and outgoing logistics, including hazardous goods and customs dealings
  • Ensuring stock accuracy and working with the P&L Manager on CAPEX/OPEX figures
  • Accountability for asset management system, ensuring assets are tagged, logged, and tracked
  • Ensuring scheduled maintenance of equipment (inspections, services, tests)
  • Participating in operational meetings and acting as the point of contact for project equipment and asset tracking software
  • Attending QHSE meetings and maintaining safe working practices
  • Conducting weekly warehouse inspections with the QHSE team
  • Providing in-house training on stock control and asset management system
  • Resolving issues within your area of responsibility or escalating them as needed
  • Deputising for the P&L Manager in their absence and reporting to the Head of Operations

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Stock taking when required

Skills, Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse/stores experience
  • Strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse operations
  • Ability to assign tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and management skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Proactive, self-starter capable of multitasking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a good work ethic
  • Full, clean UK driving license is essential
