Job summary

Trinity Industrial Corp. in Stourbridge is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, supervise one operative and ensure accurate stock control and documentation.

The role focuses on organising inbound and outbound stock, loading/unloading deliveries, and ensuring health and safety compliance with forklift operations. The successful candidate will be hands-on, practical and capable of coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced and hands‑on Warehouse Manager/Supervisor to join our team at our Stourbridge site.

This is a key role within the business, managing the day-to-day running of the warehouse and supervising one Warehouse Operative. The successful candidate will be organised, practical and confident working with steel products, with a strong focus on stock control, warehouse efficiency and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse
• Supervise and support one Warehouse Operative
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
• Manage and maintain accurate stock levels
• Monitor stock and deal promptly with stock outages
• Plan and coordinate incoming and outgoing containers
• Organise and prepare export shipments
• Complete and maintain commercial and export documentation
• Ensure goods are stored, handled and dispatched correctly
• Operate a forklift truck safely and responsibly
• Maintain a safe, tidy and organised warehouse environment
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, hauliers and customers where required
• Ensure warehouse procedures and health & safety requirements are followed

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse, stores or logistics environment, preferably with experience handling steel or other heavy goods.

You will need:

• A valid FLT Counterbalance (CB) licence
• Previous warehouse or stock management experience
• Experience loading and unloading goods
• Good organisational and planning skills
• Good attention to detail, particularly when dealing with stock and documentation
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• Good computer skills and confidence using warehouse/stock systems and Microsoft Office
• Experience with containers, export shipments and commercial documentation would be advantageous
• A practical, hands‑on approach to warehouse management
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with colleagues and external contacts
